Join MAYA Organization for Strike the Ember, an intimate rooftop cocktail evening set against the Pittsburgh skyline, in the company of the community leaders, business owners, healthcare workers, advocates, and neighbors who make this city what it is. Pittsburgh's steel forged the bridges that define our skyline. Tonight, we forge something just as lasting: maternal equity for the BIPOC, Latina, and underserved communities too often left on the other side. MAYA does this work every day. We walk beside mothers through pregnancy, birth, and the months that follow, offering bilingual support and wraparound care to families and mothers who need it most. We train doulas and birth workers who will carry that care into their own communities. We stand with incarcerated individuals, and we partner with the University of Pittsburgh on intimate partner violence research. This is how MAYA builds a stronger, more equitable future for maternal health across our region. Every ticket helps carry that work forward.
